Is InkCare free to use?
Yes! InkCare is free to download and use with 1 active tattoo, basic reminders, and 5 photos per tattoo. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited tattoos, photos, custom routines, and more.
Where is my data stored?
Your tattoo data stays on your iPhone and, if you use iCloud sync, in your private iCloud account. InkCare does not run third-party servers, sell your data, or track your healing photos.
Can I track multiple tattoos at once?
With InkCare Pro, you can track unlimited tattoos simultaneously, each with their own healing stage, routine, photos, and care log. The free version supports 1 active tattoo.
How do healing stages work?
InkCare tracks four healing stages: Fresh (Days 0-3), Peeling (Days 4-14), Settling (Days 15-30), and Healed (Day 30+). Your care routine automatically adapts as you move through each stage.
Is InkCare a medical app?
No. InkCare is an aftercare tracker and reminder tool, not a medical device. It provides general guidance based on common tattoo aftercare practices. Always follow your tattoo artist's specific instructions and consult a healthcare professional if you have concerns.
What if I delete the app?
Since all data is stored locally on your device, deleting the app will permanently remove all your tattoo data, photos, and care logs. Make sure to export your data first if you want to keep it (Pro feature).
Can I cancel my Pro subscription?
Yes, you can cancel anytime through your Apple ID settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions). Your Pro features will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
How does the 2-week free trial work?
InkCare offers a 2-week free trial on eligible Pro plans so you can track the most active healing window before paying. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged.

InkCare is available on the Apple App Store for iPhone. Use the App Store link on this site to install the app and start tracking your tattoo aftercare right away.
Does InkCare work offline?
Yes, InkCare works entirely offline. No internet connection is needed for any core feature — tracking, photos, reminders, and logging all work without connectivity.
